REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AUGUST 1, 1978 Chairman Wold called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were present. Hendrickson seconded that the minutes of the previous Motion carried. Governor proposes reorganization of CAA Mr. Steve Swiontek, Cass County's representative on the Southeastern North Dakota Community Action Agency, appeared before the Board to explain Governor Arthur Link's proposal for reorganizing the Community Action Programs for the State of North Dakota by removing the administration from the State level and placing it with the local, non-profit corporations already established. Mr. Swiontek stated that he would like to meet periodically with the Board to report on the activities of the Southeastern North Dakota Community Action Agency. Letter of condo- lence to be written Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that a letter of condolence be written to the family of the late Fred Williams of Arthur, who served on the County Planning Commission. Motion carried. Beer & Liq. Appl. for Watering Hole Bar at Wild Rice An Application for Beer and Liquor License was received from Melvin and Palma Blotsky for the Watering Hole Bar at Wild Rice, North Dakota. A letter of approval was received from the Clerk of the Stanley Township Board, but the Commission asked that the letter be signed by all three of the Township Board Supervisors. Committee Reports were given. On motion by Mr. Satrom and seconded by Mr. Hendrickson, the meeting was adjourned. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AUGUST 2, 1978 Chairman Wold called the meeting to order 'and upon roll call, all members were present. Agreements signed for _ paving road from Convent Bridge to Hwy. 81 Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the Agreement for Construction and Maintenance and the Right of Way Certificate for paving the road from the Convent Bridge to Highway 81 south of Fargo. Motion carried.
