Wold, Chairman <br /> <br />Cass County Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />" <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />[ <br />i <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />i Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. <br />meeting be approved as written. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AUGUST 1, 1978 <br /> <br />Chairman Wold called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were present. <br /> <br />Hendrickson seconded that the minutes of the previous <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Governor proposes <br />reorganization <br />of CAA <br /> <br />Mr. Steve Swiontek, Cass County's representative on the Southeastern North Dakota <br />Community Action Agency, appeared before the Board to explain Governor Arthur Link's <br />proposal for reorganizing the Community Action Programs for the State of North Dakota <br />by removing the administration from the State level and placing it with the local, <br />non-profit corporations already established. Mr. Swiontek stated that he would like <br />to meet periodically with the Board to report on the activities of the Southeastern <br />North Dakota Community Action Agency. <br /> <br />Letter of condo- <br />lence to be <br />written <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that a letter of condolence be written <br />to the family of the late Fred Williams of Arthur, who served on the County Planning <br />Commission. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Beer & Liq. Appl. <br />for Watering Hole <br />Bar at Wild Rice <br /> <br />An Application for Beer and Liquor License was received from Melvin and Palma Blotsky <br />for the Watering Hole Bar at Wild Rice, North Dakota. A letter of approval was received <br />from the Clerk of the Stanley Township Board, but the Commission asked that the letter <br />be signed by all three of the Township Board Supervisors. <br /> <br />Committee Reports were given. <br /> <br />On motion by Mr. Satrom and seconded by Mr. Hendrickson, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AUGUST 2, 1978 <br /> <br />Chairman Wold called the meeting to order 'and upon roll call, all members were present. <br /> <br />Agreements signed <br />for _ paving <br />road from Convent <br />Bridge to Hwy. 81 <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting <br />be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the <br />Agreement for Construction and Maintenance and the Right of Way Certificate for paving <br />the road from the Convent Bridge to Highway 81 south of Fargo. Motion carried. <br />
