The !motion carried with Mr. Sondrall and Mr. Satrom opposing. ; Upon the request of Mr. Jim Reed appearing with a Plat of Village West 2nd (Addition in the City of Fargo, Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that ithe Chairman be authorized to sign the plat as the landowner of two small pieces lof land along County Drain 40. Motion carried. i Upon the recommendation of the County Director of Tax Equalization, Mrs. Stanton imoved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Application for Abatement and Settlement iof Taxes for John P. and Norma I. Murphy be denied. Motion carried. , Abate. for Donald: Mr. Satrom moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Abatement submitted by & Lloyd Murch iDonald & Lloyd Murch be granted in accordance with the recommendation of the County granted IDirector of Tax Equalization. Motion carried. Abate. for ROberti Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Abatements submitted by & Delores Meyer IRobert and Delores Meyer for the years 1976 and 1977 be granted in accordance with granted ,the recommendation of the County Director of Tax Equalization. Motion carried. Bonnie sorenson! Upon the recommendation of the States Attorney's Office, Mrs. Stanton moved hired to replace land Mr. Hendrickson seconded that Mrs. Bonnie Sorenson be hired as Director of the Jack Hennessy IChild Support Enforcement Unit to replace Mr. Jack Hennessy. Motion carried. I Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Chairman and Auditor ibe authorized to sign the Satisfaction and DisCharge of Trust Mortgage through the icass County Social Services Board for property in Becker County, Minnesota. The imotion carried with Mr. Satrom opposing. Trust Mortgage approved Clayton Runck reapptd. to Hsg. Authority Fred Selberg apptd. to Co. Bd. I Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that Clayton Runck be reappointed Ito the Cass County Housing Authority for another 5 year term. Motion carried. I ! The County Auditor received petitions containing 73 signatures recommending the Dr !appointment of Mr. Fred Selberg of Reed Township to the Cass County Drain Board. 'iMrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that Mr. Fred Selberg be appointed Ito the Cass County Drain Board for a 3 year term to expire July 1, 1981, to replace !Mr. Gunnard Nelson. Motion carried. I i Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that a letter of thanks be iwritten to Mr. Gunnard Nelson for his years of faithful service on the Cass County IDrain Board. Motion carried. Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that Vouchers No. 52,606 through Vouchers apprvd. iNo. 52,943 be approved and ordered paid for the month of July. Motion carried. Letter of thanks to be written to Gunnard Nelson Western Environ.' Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the truck and trailer loaded Services truck !with emergency safety equipment owned by Western Environmental Services be stored to be stored on fat the Cass County Shop Property in West Fargo. Deputi~s istated that the deputies have agreed to accept the Board's figure of $500,000.00 accept Board s !for the salaries line item infue Sheriff's budget without further negotiations, figure of, $500,00qand they will furnish a copy of the new salary schedule based on the $500,000.00. for salarles I i On motion by Mr. Hendrickson and seconded by Mr. Satrom, the meeting was iadjourned. I i ADJOURNED MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS JULY 19, 1978 Chairman Wold called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were present. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting i be approved as written. Motion carried. i Utility permit, Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign ,with Cass Electrci the utility permit with Cass County Electric to bury cable under County Road 6 at ! Lynchburg. Motion carried. [Agree. signed Federal Aid on C16 Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the agreement for Federal Aid for County Road 16. Motion carried.
