Motion carried. Applications were received from Charlotte Rufer and from Clair E. Berg for appointment to the County Social Services Board. Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that Bernard Holes and Roy Faught be nominated as 1st and 2nd choices on the County Social Services Board. Motion carried. Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that Greydon Owens and Charlotte Rufer be nominated as 1st an~ 2nd choices to the County Social Services Board. Motion carried. Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that Mary Pierce and Clair E. Berg be nominated as 1st and 2nd choices to the County Social Services Board. Motion carried. Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that Mr. Sondrall be nominated as the County Commission representative to the County Social Services Board. Motion carried. The Auditor received a second letter from KFNW Radio stating that the condition of County Road 6 past their station has become worse since their first letter. Mrs. Wold suggested asking the County Road Superintendent if this road is on the proposed County Road Construction Program in the near future, and that the answer be forwarded to KFNW Radio Station. Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that a letter be written to Walt Ness, County Extension Agent, thanking him for including the Board in the agricultural tour on June 28th. Motion carried. Mr. Satrom moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the proposed budget contract from the Fargo Senior Commission on Aging be received and filed until the proposed contract is received from the Cass County Council on Aging. Motion carried. Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that Cass County endorses the Urban Water Study for the Fargo-Moorhead Metro Area to be conducted by the Corps of Engineers as recommended by the Metropolitan Council of Governments. Motion carried. Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Board approve the 1978-1979 Work Program and Budget for the Lake Agassiz Regional Council. Motion carried. Committee Reports were given. The Chairman declared the meeting recessed until 1:00 P.M., ~t which ~ime the Board reviewed budgets with the Sheriff's Department and the Social S~rvices Office. Regarding the request from the City of Fargo for the County to participate in the cost of the 19th Avenue North interchange, the County Road Superintendent stated that the area from the railroad to Interstate 29 is a township road; and the matter will be referred to the States Attorney to see if the County could participate in the construction on a township road. Motion was made and seconded that the meeting be adjourned.
