The County Auditor stated that he discussed not signed at !this proposed agreement with the States Attorney and it is their recommendation that the this time IBoard not sign the agreement without some kind of limitations. Motion carried. Lost Instr. Bond for Hollands Dry Cleaners Abate. for Jerome B. Halvorson , Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Application for Abatement and Settlement of Taxes submitted by Jerome B. Halvorson be received, filed and Ireferred to Noble Township. Motion carried. Board adopts Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Board adopt a policy policy for closngwhereby the Chairman of the County Board and the County Auditor shall decide if County offices County Offices should be closed due to a snowstorm; or if the Chairman of the Board due to blizzards cannot be reached, th~ decision shall be made by the Auditor. Motion carried. Fish & Wildlife Mr. Sondrall reported that he contacted the President of the East Central Servo will not ,'commissioners Association about inviting representatives of the Fish and Wildlife be on agenda for Service to the next meeting in Valley City on March 13th, but he was informed East Central mtg.,that the program has already been scheduled for most of the morning. , I I Increase in I The County Director of Tax Equalization reported that the law pertaining to per diem for Itownship and city assessors has been revised and there is an option for the County Board assessors attend-ito pay each assessor an amount not to exceed $20.00 per day plus mileage for attending ing the annual iannual assessor's meetings held by the County Tax Director. George Griffeth apptd. Co. Weed Control Officer at a salary of $1200.00 An Invocation was given by the Chairman. ! Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the minutes of the previous Imeeting be approved as corrected. Motion carried. I Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that Mr. George Griffeth be appointed !County Weed Control Officer to replace Irvine. Dietrich, who has resigned. The motion Icarried with Mrs. Stanton opposing. Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the salary for George Griffeth as County Weed Control Officer be the same as last year, this being $1,200.00. Motion carried.
