However, some of the commissioners will be attending the national conference the week of July 19th, and will be unavailable to meet. I have previewed the July agenda, and we have no items scheduled at this time. Therefore, it would be my recommendation to set a single meetinQ on Monday, July 12, 2004, to handle our July agenda items; and I would further recommend that the board authorize payment of the bills so that the county would be authorized to process any vouchers, which would then be formally approved at the following Commission meeting. SUGGESTED MOTION: Move to cancel the meetings set for July 6 and July 19, 2004, and set a single meeting for Monday, July 12, 2004; and to notify department heads, the local media and the Secretary of State's Office regarding the change in the July, 2004, meeting schedule. cc Department Heads K:\Sorum\COMM MTG-JULY DATE 6-7-04.doc
