TYPES OF CERTIFICATION. Biennial or Amendment: <br />rl!1ark the proper one for the report being sent. <br />A. 8IENNIAL: Biennial certification is only sent by <br />the County Commission to the State Treasurer <br />by July 1 of each even numbered year. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT: Whenever there is a mileage <br />change in a township between biennial <br />certifications. a certified amendment by the <br />County Commission must be sent to the State <br />Treasurer. The amended mileage should be <br />computed by increasing or decreasing. in <br />quarter mile increments. the most recent <br />township mileage amount certified to the <br />State Treasurer (Biennial or Amended) for that <br />township. <br /> <br />REPORTING REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Mileage must be listed to the nearest mile <br />for both organized and unorganized <br />townships. <br /> <br />B. Each organized township and its mileage must <br />be listed individually. The name as well as the <br />township and range numbers must be put on <br />the form. <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />The total mileage for all organized townships <br />must be listed on the organized township total <br />line. <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />Unorganized townships need not be <br />individually listed. However. if listed. they <br />must be identified as unorganized. Total <br />mileage for all of a county's unorganized <br />townships must be listed on the unorganized <br />township total line. <br /> <br />E. <br /> <br />Countywide total line is the sum of both the <br />organized and unorganized township total <br />lines. <br /> <br />F. <br /> <br />County Commission Chair man must sign form <br />sent to State Treasurer. <br />
