Commission Minutes--May 17, 2004 2726 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MAY 17, 2004 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairperson Robyn Sorum called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: John Meyer, Robyn Sorum, Darrell Vanyo, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Michael Montplaisir led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Meyer seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following changes: to pull the omitted assessment for Brian Mullenberg from consent agenda item e. per the request of Tax Director Frank Klein; and to move consent agenda item a. , letter of support for Prairie Public Broadcasting project, to the regular agenda. Motion carried. 5. PERMITS FOR SITE AUTHORIZATION, Approved for Red River Human Services; The Arc. Upper Valley MOTION, passed Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to grant site authorization permits to conduct games of chance under license issued by North Dakota Attorney General's Office for the period of July 1, 2004, through June 30, 2005, as follows: Red River Human Services Foundation at the Wild Rice Bar and Grill in Wild Rice; The Arc, Upper Valley at Club 94, Casselton. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 6. AUDITOR'S OFFICE, Monthly financial statement received MOTION, passed Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive a monthly financial statement provided by the county auditor. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. PLAT APPROVAL, Baasch's First Subdivision MOTION, passed Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the Cass County Board of Commissioners grant final plat approval for Baasch's First Subdivision, Section 31, Township 140N, Range 54W. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
