<br />INVESTIGATION OF ABATEMENT APPLICATION <br /> <br />ABATEMENT NO. <br /> <br />Following is a report on the investigation ofthe abatement application of: Todd & Brenda Gross <br /> <br />Cass County Board of Commissioners and State Tax Commissioner: <br /> <br />The applicant is asking that the valuation be reduced on their newly constructed home at 1601 <br />64th Av N, Reed Twp. for the year 2003. They're asking that the valuation be reduced from <br />$324,500 to $282,000. Mr. Gross states that the construction cost including the land was about <br />$282,000. <br /> <br />The Reed Twp Board recommended that the valuation be reduced to $290,000. <br /> <br />I visited with Mr. Gross, reviewed the construction costs and inspected the property. The total <br />project cost was around $286,000 for the 1,800 sq ft rambler.
