I recommend the Board use a similar process this year.
County Administrator Bonnie Johnson has spoken with Irv Rustad, Executive
Director of Lake Agassiz Regional Council, and his organization is willing to assist
the county. A contract will be forthcoming to engage their services.
SUGGESTED MOTION:
Move to approve a contract with Lake Agassiz Regional Council, pending State's
Attorney review, for the 2009 flood mitigation buyout program.
K:\Sorum\FLOOD MITIGATION MEMO.doc
