We understand the proposed building will include an underground garage <br />and be used by multiple state am local law enforcement agencies. The building is proposed to have an <br />approximate plan dimension of 70 by 150 feet. We understand the finished floor of the underground <br />garage will be approximately 14 feet below final exterior grade. We understand there is still some <br />discussion as to which age~ies will occupy the building; therefore, the final dimensions and loads are not <br />known at this time. We were infonned the primary purpose for the borings at this time is to determine <br />the suitability of the location to iD:1ude an underground garage, ml that additional investigation would be <br />needed for design recornmerxlations. We are basing our proposal on perfonning 5 soil borings. Upon <br />completion of the fieldwork, the completed boring logs along with our pre1iminary reconunendations <br />regarding the underground garage and foundation support for the building would be provided. <br /> <br />Based upon the scope of services outlined on the following page, we would perform the soil <br />investigation for a lump sum cost of $1,900.00. For a complete description of the services included <br />in this estimate, please refer to the following page.
