CALL FOR BIDS ELECION SUPPLIES CASS COUNTY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received in the office of the C;ounty Auditor of Cass County, Cass, North Dakota, until 9:00 a.m. on April 5, 2004, for furnishing Primary and General Election supplies for each of Cass County's 59 precincts. A list of supplies needed is available from the Cass County Auditor's Office. SEALED BIDS will also be taken for the printing of ballots for the Primary and General Elections. Cass County will furnish the 8 W' x 14" ballot stock which must be printed with non-detectable ink. Cass County has 59 precincts, each of which will likely have a formal change on both the front and back sides of the ballot. Printers will be supplied with a PDF file of each precinct. Bidders shall state a price per precinct for printing the first 100 ballots. Bids are also requested for the printing of additional ballots in groups of 100 and 500 per precinct. Further information on the election supplies or ballot printing may be obtained from the County Auditor. All bids must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a bidder's bond in a sum equal to five percent of the full amount of the bid as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the contract if it is awarded to him. When the bid is ten thousand dollar or less, the bidder may in lieu of such bond provide a certified or cashier's check equal to five percent of the full amount of the bid. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities therein. Dated at Fargo, North Dakota, this ~ day of ~, 2004.
