These are budgeted figures and in most cases, will corne in slightly lower than the budgeted costs since they are based on standard contract prices. Computer equipment replacements for departments include desktops, monitors, laptops, printers and copiers. The WinScribe dictation equipment and software is a replacement for a system currently in the Sheriffs office that is no longer supported. The replacements systems will be a shared system between the Sheriff and State's Attorney's offices. IT Server upgrades include scheduled equipment replacement as well as designing a system that separates public access servers from County IT systems of GIS and web servers. Phone system upgrades include an infrastructure upgrade to network switches to provision the County network to support voice over IP telephone systems.
