<br />.REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />DECEMBER 3, 1975 <br />I <br /> <br />Vice Chairman Sondrall called the meeting to order and four members were present, <br />1r. Savageau being absent. <br /> <br />~1rs. Wold moved and Mr. Griffeth seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting <br />)e approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrickson and Mrs. Wold withdrew their motion and second of December 2nd <br />relative to increasing th~ fees for County Beer and Liquor Licenses; and further <br />jiscussion followed. The States Attorney stated that the same license fee must apply <br />to all establishments who obtain licenses from the County. <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrickson again moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the On and Off Sale <br />Giquor and Beer licenses be increased to $1,000.00, the On Sale Only be increased to <br />?750.00, the Off Sale Only be increased to $750.00 and the On and Off Sale Beer licenses <br />oe increased to $100.00. At the call of the question, the motion failed with Mr. Sondral <br />~nd Mr. Griffeth voting "No" and Mrs. Wold passing her vote due to a conflict of interest <br /> <br /> <br />the <br />On Sale <br />es <br />1977, and that <br />thelr licenses <br /> <br />Discussion was held with Mr. Art Lieb, Juvenile Supervisor, regarding grants for <br />)ffice furniture and for staff in the Juvenile Justice Center. Mr. Hendrickson <br />noved and Mr. Griffeth seconded that the Vice Chairman be authorized to sign a <br />letter of Appeal to the Law Enforcement Council for grant application #6-123, which <br />Has denied. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Griffeth moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the Vice Chairman be authorized <br />to sign the grant award and acceptance form from the Law Enforcement Council in the <br />~mount of $9,000.00 for furniture for the Juvenile Justice Center, the County's <br />natching funds to be $1,000.00; and that bids be advertised for the furniture. <br />~otion carried. <br /> <br />Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Griffeth seconded that the Vice Chair~an be authorized <br />to sign the grant award and acceptance form from the Law Enforcement Council in the <br />amount of $25,764.00 for staff for the Juvenile Justice Center, the County's matching <br />funds to be $2,577.00. Motion carried. <br /> <br />r1rs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the following estimates be paid <br />to the contractors and the architect on the Juvenile Justice Center and Emergency <br />Jperations Center: Motion carried. <br /> <br />Meinecke-Johnson Company <br />Dakota Electric Construction Co. <br />Peterson, Inc. <br />Hunter/Grobe, Architects <br /> <br />$94,305.00 <br />$24,120.00 <br />$28,478.00 <br />$ .5,092.71 <br /> <br />The Auditor informed the Board that the Blue Cross-Blue Shield Insurance rates <br />have increased from $17.15 to $23.75 for a single policy and from $45.80 to $63.35 <br />for a family policy. The Board determined that the County's share of the premium <br />will remain the same. <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that Vouchers No. 29,658 through <br />No. 30,246 be approved and ordered paid. Motion carried. <br /> <br />On motion by Mrs~ Wold and seconded by Mr. Hendrickson, the meeting was adjourned. <br />
