.REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS DECEMBER 3, 1975 I Vice Chairman Sondrall called the meeting to order and four members were present, 1r. Savageau being absent. ~1rs. Wold moved and Mr. Griffeth seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting )e approved as written. Motion carried. Mr. Hendrickson and Mrs. Wold withdrew their motion and second of December 2nd relative to increasing th~ fees for County Beer and Liquor Licenses; and further jiscussion followed. The States Attorney stated that the same license fee must apply to all establishments who obtain licenses from the County. Mr. Hendrickson again moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the On and Off Sale Giquor and Beer licenses be increased to $1,000.00, the On Sale Only be increased to ?750.00, the Off Sale Only be increased to $750.00 and the On and Off Sale Beer licenses oe increased to $100.00. At the call of the question, the motion failed with Mr. Sondral ~nd Mr. Griffeth voting "No" and Mrs. Wold passing her vote due to a conflict of interest the On Sale es 1977, and that thelr licenses Discussion was held with Mr. Art Lieb, Juvenile Supervisor, regarding grants for )ffice furniture and for staff in the Juvenile Justice Center. Mr. Hendrickson noved and Mr. Griffeth seconded that the Vice Chairman be authorized to sign a letter of Appeal to the Law Enforcement Council for grant application #6-123, which Has denied. Motion carried. Mr. Griffeth moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the Vice Chairman be authorized to sign the grant award and acceptance form from the Law Enforcement Council in the ~mount of $9,000.00 for furniture for the Juvenile Justice Center, the County's natching funds to be $1,000.00; and that bids be advertised for the furniture. ~otion carried. Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Griffeth seconded that the Vice Chair~an be authorized to sign the grant award and acceptance form from the Law Enforcement Council in the amount of $25,764.00 for staff for the Juvenile Justice Center, the County's matching funds to be $2,577.00. Motion carried. r1rs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the following estimates be paid to the contractors and the architect on the Juvenile Justice Center and Emergency Jperations Center: Motion carried. Hunter/Grobe, Architects $94,305.00 $24,120.00 $28,478.00 $ .5,092.71 The Auditor informed the Board that the Blue Cross-Blue Shield Insurance rates have increased from $17.15 to $23.75 for a single policy and from $45.80 to $63.35 for a family policy. The Board determined that the County's share of the premium will remain the same. Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that Vouchers No. 29,658 through No. 30,246 be approved and ordered paid. Motion carried. On motion by Mrs~ Wold and seconded by Mr. Hendrickson, the meeting was adjourned.
