CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />- Copy of letter from County Engineer Keith Berndt to the North Dakota Department <br />of Transportation regarding Alert Code 3 Bridge status report in Cass County. <br /> <br />12. JAIL GENERATOR STACK; BUILDING AND GROUNDS REPORT; EARLY VOTING <br />PRECINCT, Committee reports <br />Mrs. Johnson said she ordered the parts for the generator stack extension at the Cass <br />County Jail, which will take up to three weeks to be delivered. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said the project to tuck point the Courthouse bell tower is nearly complete. <br />The crew is working on waterproofing the bell tower and the next step is to clean up and <br />tear down their equipment. Road Department staff will repair the pavement behind the <br />Courthouse that has been damaged by heavy equipment used for the project. <br /> <br />Mr. Montplaisir said the early voting precinct opened today and around 500 people had <br />voted as of 3:00 today. He anticipates a record number of voters during the upcoming <br />election. <br /> <br />13.
