<br /> <br />RECEIVED <br /> <br />OCT 1 6 2008 <br /> <br />CASS COUNTY COMMISSJON <br /> <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />DATE: <br />RE: <br /> <br />County Commissioners, County Agents, & County Fairs <br />North Dakota State Fair <br />October 14, 2008 <br />Appointment of North Dakota State Fair Delegates <br /> <br />Our State's Century Code specifies that State Fair delegates be appointed annually, and that each <br />County have three delegates appointed and invited to the State Fair Association's Annual Meeting. One <br />Delegate is to be appointed by the County Ag Agent, one by the County Fair Board, and one by the <br />County Commissioners. If there is no County Fair, the Commissioners are to appoint two. <br /> <br />Please send us the names and addresses of your appointed delegates by, October 29, 2008, so that we <br />may invite them to our November 20, 2008 meeting to be held at 1 :00 pm in the Missouri Ballroom at <br />the Ramkota in Bismarck. As a reminder, we need the signature of the person nominating the <br />delegate. Nominations may be sent by mail or fax (emails will not be accepted). We also ask that <br />you please find us interested delegates. Some previously appointed delegates have never attended our <br />meeting. <br /> <br />If one of our nine directors is from your County, you may want to give that person special <br />consideration. Failure to reappoint one of our directors as a delegate will make them ineligible for <br />re-election. <br /> <br />We have exhibitors showing at the North Dakota State Fair from every County.
