This wear course installation will provide a better riding and draining <br />street section. <br /> <br />The construction costs are estimated at $290,730.00 and will be funded by special assessments. <br />The estimated assessed cost for properties fronting on these streets is approximately $25.17 /front <br />foot. <br /> <br />A typical lot with 200 foot frontage would be assessed a total of $5,034.00. Special assessments <br />will be spread over a twenty-five year time frame. For this particular amount, the payments would <br />be approximately $412.70 per year including interest. You may view the estimated special <br />assessment for individual properties on the City's website at www.citvoffarao.com/oarcels. <br /> <br />The assessment district for this project is being published in the legal section of the Forum on <br />March 3 and 10, 2008 for your review. Bids for this work are scheduled to be opened April 2, <br />2008, with completion of the wear course scheduled for August 1, 2008. <br /> <br />Our records indicate that your property is in the assessment district and will be assessed for a <br />portion of the project costs.
