<br />Changes made from original submitted 2009 budget were: <br />$ 8,450 - reduction in ergonomic office chairs <br />2,220 - reduction in client related travel (manageable if request for web cam is approved) <br />43,882 - reduction of one A12 clerical support staff in eligibility <br />54,705 - reduction of one Eligibility Worker I <br />2,000 - reduction of client related travel in Child Assessment Unit <br />3,890 - increase by changing a Social Worker II to a Social Worker III and moving it into <br />Family Based Unit from Child Assessment Unit <br />1,290 - increase in Family Based Services <br />80,000 - expenditure decrease in foster care due to ability of PATH to bill Targeted Case <br />Management <br />60,000 - increased revenue due to ability to bill Targeted Case Management <br /> <br />Increase in the 2009 proposed budget over the projected 2008 budget would be $360,000. Total <br />proposed expenditures are $10,956,469 and total revenues are $10,717,101. <br /> <br />Motion, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to reduce new position requests by one Eligibility <br />Worker I - $54,000. Motion passed on a roll call vote with Mr. Wagner, Mr. Vanyo and Mr. <br />Pawluk voting in favor, Mr. Bennett and Ms. Sorum opposed. <br /> <br />Motion, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to reduce new position request of one Social <br />Worker III- $72,000. Motion passed on a roll call vote with Mr. Wagner, Mr. Vanyo and Mr. <br />Pawluk voting in favor, Mr. Bennett and Ms. Sorum opposed. <br /> <br />Motion, passed <br />Ms. Sorum moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve the Social Services budget as presented <br />with the approved position reductions.
