<br />RECEIVED <br /> <br />MAY 2 8 2008 <br /> <br />CABS COUNTY COMMISSION <br /> <br />Memorandum <br /> <br />To: Cass County Commission <br />From: Stan Wolf, Chair of the Department Heads <br />Re: Budget Recommendation <br />Date: May 28, 2008 <br /> <br />Attached are the minutes from the May meeting of the Department Heads committee. <br />After review of the Midwest consumer price index (CPI), the committee recommends a <br />4.0% adjustment to the Cass County salary scale to reflect the current projected cost of <br />living adjustment (COLA). A copy of the material is attached. <br /> <br />Proposed motion: I move that the county authorize the use of a 4.0% salary scale <br />adjustment for the 2009 budget development purposes. <br />
