<br />Commission Minutes-June 2,2008 3361 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />JUNE 2, 2008 <br /> <br />1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br />Chairman Ken Pawluk called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Scott Wagner, Darrell Vanyo, Robyn Sorum, and Ken Pawluk. Vern Bennett was <br />absent. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Heather Worden led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with additions of a calendar raffle permit and a vector spraying <br />contract; and move final grant approval of Torgerson Second <br />Subdivision from consent agenda to regular agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve the consent <br />agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />a. Appoint Mark Brodshaug for the Primary Election as alternate for <br />Commission Chairman Ken Pawluk and to appoint Darrell Vanyo for the <br />General Election as alternate for Ken Pawluk to the Cass County <br />Canvassing Board. <br />b. Appoint election inspectors for the early voting and absentee precincts <br />as recommended by the county auditor. <br />c. Grant final plat approval for the following subdivisions: Leo's <br />Subdivision, Section 9, Township 139N, Range 50W in Cass County, <br />North Dakota; and Going to the Country Subdivision, Section 30, <br />Township 139N, Range 51W in Cass County, North Dakota. <br />d. Contract approval <br />North Dakota Department of Transportation-resolution for <br />overlay and improvement project on Cass County Highway 10 <br />from Cass County Highway 11 at Mapleton to Cass County <br />Highway 17 in West Fargo, with apparent low bidder of Border <br />States Paving, Inc. <br />Village of Erie-2008 vector control contract. <br />e. Approve a permit for a calendar raffle for the Red River Valley Fair <br />Association to be held June 1,2008, through September 30,2008, at the <br />Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, North Dakota. <br />
