<br />Article 1.1.3.5: Retain existing prior language. Insert the following <br />language, adding a consultant retained at Architect's expense: <br /> <br />Courts Consultant: <br />Kimme & Associates, Inc. <br />510 South Staley Road, Suite C <br />Champaign, IL 61822 <br /> <br />Article 1.5.1: Eliminate the prior language. Insert the following language: <br />"For the Architect's services as described under Article 1.4, compensation shall be <br />computed as follows: <br /> <br />1, Compensation shall be 7.5% of actual construction costs (estimated <br />budget of $9,000,000.00 (nine million dollars)) less previous <br />compensation paid by Owner to Architect in the amount $57,369.00 <br />(fifty seven thousand, three hundred sixty nine dollars). The amended <br />agreement shall include the stages of design through construction, <br />with consulting on security matters to be provided by Kimme and <br />Associates, See also (3) below. <br />A. Schematic Design: 15% (fifteen percent), less <br />a credit of $57,369.00 <br />B. Design Development: 20% (twenty percent) <br />C. Construction Documents: 40% (forty percent) <br />D. Bid Phase: 5 % (five percent) <br />E. Construction Administration: 20% (twenty percent) <br /> <br />2. Architect shall review and update the program furnished by the <br />Owner. No additional costs to be paid to Architect for this service, <br /> <br />3. In addition to the compensation addressed in (1) above, Owner shall <br />pay Architect the amount of $62,100.00 (sixty two thousand, one <br />hundred dollars) for the purpose of security consulting, courts <br />programming, and planning related expenses to be provided by <br />Kimme and Associates, Inc. See Enclosure 1, dated October 26, <br />2007, regarding the budget proposal for those contractor services, <br />A. Architect shall submit monthly statements to Owner for the <br />planning and programming phase of the project upon receipt <br />from Kimme and Associates. The statements shall not exceed <br />the scope of work previously completed. The final payment for <br />this scope of work will be requested following the final planning <br />document submittal to Owner." <br /> <br />- Page 2 of 4 - <br />
