Our reimbursement is based on the number of <br />convicted aliens the Cass County Jail held from July 1,2006 to June 30, 2007. Last year we <br />received $18,966 for aliens held in our facility during that time period. <br /> <br />However, prior to subitting the request, I am required to have commission approval to act as your <br />designee to provide the information required and to submit the application on your behalf. This <br />also includes the request for payment should Cass County receive any funds under this application. <br />The deadline for submitting an application is May 2, 2008. <br /> <br />Sample Motion: <br /> <br />Move to name Glenn Ellingsberg as our designee to provide the information requested now <br />and in the future throughout the application process including any request for payments on <br />behalf of Cass County to the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP) <br /> <br />Respectfully, <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Lt.
