<br />c. Sloping Ground <br /> <br />1. Where the elevation difference of the ground <br />surface treatment system and a distribution <br />box cannot be used as specified in these <br />regulations a drop box shall be installed at <br />the head end of each lateral line. <br />Connections between drop boxes shall be by <br />water tight pipes. <br /> <br />2. Drop Boxes - The drop box shall be water <br />tight and constructed of durable materials <br />not subject to excessive corrosion or decay. <br /> <br />a. The invert of the inlet pipe shall be least <br />one inch higher than the invert of the <br />outlet pipe to the next trench. <br /> <br />b. The invert of the outlet pipe to the next <br />trench shall be at least two inches higher <br />than the invert of the outlet pipe of the <br />trench in which the box is located. <br /> <br />c. When sewage tank effluent is delivered to <br />the drop box by a pump, the pump <br />discharge shall be directed against a wall <br />or side of the box on which there is no <br />outlet. <br /> <br />d. The drop box shall have a removable <br />cover, either flushes or above finished <br />grade or covered by no more than 6 <br />inches of soil. <br /> <br />2. Pressure Distribution <br /> <br />a.
