The NDIRF staff was introduced and once again <br />recognized for their efforts this past year and the NDIRF Board was thanked for successfully <br />leading the organization. <br /> <br />Darrell Lingle, partner in Eide Bailly, LLP, was then introduced to discuss the 2006 NDIRF <br />financial audit. Mr. Lingle provided highlights of the audit conducted and stated that, in <br />accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, the NDIRF was given an unqualified <br />(clean) opinion and that the NDIRF is in very good financial condition. A balance sheet for the <br />year 2006 was reviewed showing assets at $33.7 million; liabilities at $15.1 million and net assets <br />or members' equity at $18.6 million. <br /> <br />The meeting was recessed at 11 :30 a.m. so the "Cities" and "Counties" members could caucus for <br />election of board members. When the meeting reconvened at 11 :40 a.m., it was announced that <br />Shawn Kessel was re-elected tothe "Cities" category and Richard Aberle was re-elected to the <br />"Counties" category. <br /> <br />Door prizes were won by Ken Yantes and Jerome Kelsch. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the 2007 NDIRF Annual Meeting of Members, the <br />meeting was adjourned at 11 :47 a.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Nancy M.
