<br />Harwood Pedestrian and Bicycle Crossing Study - 2007 <br /> <br />Project Implementation Sequence <br /> <br />~ Both Harwood and Cass County should request the ND DOT to consider the <br />entirety of both Alternative 3 and 4 in the PCR currently being development for <br />adjacent ND DOT projects. (Immediate Action) <br /> <br />'.!J The estimated non-federal match for either Alternative 3 or 4 will range between <br />$80,000 and $150,000. City of Harwood and Cass County should begin to set <br />aside the necessary local funds to match potential future federal grants. <br />(Immediate) <br /> <br />~ In an effort to secure the additional local match required to implement either <br />Alternative 3 or 4, the City of Harwood should work with Cass County on a cost <br />sharing agreement on the local match requirement for Alternative 3 or 4. <br />(Immediate) <br /> <br />~ Harwood should also extend an inquiry to the West Fargo School District about <br />potentially contributing supplemental local match funds to the project. <br />(Immediate) <br /> <br />~ City of Harwood and Cass County provide written comment on draft PCR.
