Document Preservation Fund: Expenditure Budget $10,000 The revenue from this fund is derived from a fee in the County Recorder's Office. Part of the adjustment is due to the increased documents being recorded, for 2007 $1.50 of every $3 collected is remitted to NDRIN - since fees are up, the amount remitted to NDRIN is also up. Additional expense was incurred in converting microfilm to images and for the program to research and view imaged documents. The fund has adequate cash reserves of $83,000. Jail Commissary Fund: Expenditure Budgets $32,500 The Cass County Jail operates a commissary fund for the benefit of the inmates and the amount expended is dependent on the ability of inmates to purchase commissary items.
