The <br />owners' parents, Arthur and Thelma Burley, deeded the North 83 feet ofthe NEY4 of Sect ion <br />8 to Cass County in 1976, At the time the land was deeded to Cass County, an easement <br />for the farmstead driveway was not reserved by the Burleys, The farmstead driveway has <br />been in use ever since that time and continues to provide access to the farmstead, <br /> <br />On behalf of my clients, I am requesting that the county grant the owners an access <br />easement across the 83 foot strip that presently is used as the driveway. At the time of sale, <br />a survey was done for the property and the survey detennined that the centerline of the <br />driveway was 712 feet West of the Northeast corner of Section 8. Enclosed is a copy of the <br />survey showing the centerline of the driveway. <br /> <br />Our office has prepared an easement from Cass County to my clients for the easement area. <br />I would appreciate it if you would forward this request to the county commission for their <br />review and approval.
