Htl is concemtld about s. <br />possible ruture development in Kindred accessing Cuss County Highway <br />15 and crossing the bike path in doing so. <br /> <br />The Kindred City Auditor contacted mc last spring regarding hnw and <br />where the County would al10w access points untu Cass 15 c.m the one mile <br />strelch belween Sheyennt: Street in Kindred und State Highway 46. After <br />discussing my thoughts on it with her, I followed up with an cmail on <br />March 1. <br /> <br />On March 7, the Kindred City Council voted to limit future access points <br />onto Cass 15 in al,;cordanct: with the suggestions I had provided to the <br />auditor. I suggested to the City that up to 2 additional access points could <br />be allowed along the 1 mile stretch betwccn Sheyenne Street and Statl:' <br />Highway 46. I believe this adequately re~triets access to provide ((IT safe <br />traffic operations and at the same time allows reasomlblt: access to the <br />adjacent property. <br /> <br />Apparently Mr. Williams feels no additional access should be al10wed <br />unto Highway 15 and would like to express those eoncems to the <br />Commission. <br /> <br />I don't believe auy action is required from the Commission at this time. <br />Howcvcr, if you did wish to takc action, I'd recommend that you amrm <br />the City of Kindred's and County Engineer's decision to allow up to 2 <br />additional access points onto Ca."IS 15 between Sht:ytlnne Street WId State <br />Highway 46 in Kindred. <br /> <br />I've enclosed a map of the area for your information and will be availl.lblt: <br />to answcr questions during the meeting. <br />
