<br />NORTH DAKOTA STATE PIRC <br />COLLABORATIVE REIMBURSABLE CONTRACT 2007-2008 <br />NORTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY EXTENSION OFFICE <br />"TO KINDERGARTEN" <br /> <br />This collaboration reimbursable agreement contract is between the North Dakota State <br />University Extension Service-Cass County, 1010 Second Ave South, PO Box 2806, Fargo, NO <br />58108-2806 and the North Dakota State PIRC, a project under the Pathfinder Services of <br />North Dakota, Inc. 1600 2nd Ave. SW, Suite 29, Minot, NO 58701; #U310A060021 from <br />Department of Education, Office of Innovation and Improvement. <br /> <br />1. SCOPE OF WORK: <br />This agreement enables the North Dakota State PIRC to collaborate with the <br />NDSU Extension Service and its Parent Resource Centers, to provide three pilot sites for <br />the "Countdown to Kindergarten" program. The three pilot sites are as follows: <br />Jefferson Early Childhood Center, Minot, NO <br />Fort Berthold Reservation/related school districts, Rolla NO <br />Nokomis Child Care Center, Fargo, NO <br />The three specific sites will provide "Countdown to Kindergarten" to low income and <br />low English proficiency families with 24 families at each site being served. <br /> <br />NDSU Extension Service will work with the above centers to establish the "Countdown <br />to Kindergarten" at these sites. NDSU Extension Service will provide evaluation, <br />trainers, (will collaborate with the NO State PIRC to use PIRC staff at Minot and FargoL <br />and track all data pertinent to school readiness. <br /> <br />2. AGREEMENT: NDSU Extension Service and the North Dakota PIRC agree to the <br />following: <br />~ Language to be used on materials: "Funded by the North Dakota State PIRC in <br />collaboration with NDSU Extension Service" (printed on all handouts, materials, public <br />relations, promotions, etc.) <br />~ Periodic (monthly/quarterly) submission of expenditures and billing. <br />~ Quarterly report reflecting numbers of families and any required reporting for the <br />PIRC performance report. <br />~ Relevant and required Evaluation, data, feedback from NDSU Extension Service <br />for the NO PIRC's yearly performance report. NO PIRC's yearly performance report <br />is due by August 1, 2008. (Department of Education always reserves the right to change <br />date). <br />3. ALLOWABLE COST AND PAYMENT: <br />as follows: <br />Coordinator fees <br />Facilitator training <br />Facilitator fees <br />Classroom assistant <br /> <br />Each site will have the following budget of $8A90 <br /> <br />$2,000 <br />150 <br />3,200 <br />640 <br />
