<br />CASS COUNTY <br />COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL <br /> <br />13.30 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />ADOPTED DATE: OCTOBER 15, 2007 <br /> <br />PAGE 1 OF 1 <br /> <br />NDCC 11-11-05. MEETINGS OF BOARD -- TIME AND PLACE. <br /> <br />"The board of county commissioners shall meet and hold sessions for the transaction of <br />business at the courthouse, or at the usual place of holding court, in the first week of <br />January, April, July, and October of each year, and may adjourn such meetings from time <br />to time. The county auditor shall have power to call special sessions when the interests of <br />the county demand it. The chairman of the board, or a majority of the members thereof, <br />may call special sessions upon giving five days' notice of the time and object of the <br />meeting by publishing the notice in the official newspaper of the county, or by giving <br />personal notice, in writing, to all the members of the board." <br /> <br />COMMISSION MEETING SCHEDULE <br /> <br />Regular meetings of the Cass County Board of Commissioners shall be held at 3:30 PM <br />on the first and third Monday of each month. If Monday is a holiday, the Board of <br />Commissioners will meet at 3:30 PM on Tuesday that week. All meetings of the Cass <br />County Board of Commissioners are held at the Courthouse, unless otherwise stated. <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT ROTATIONAL MEETINGS <br /> <br />Rotational department meetings will be are held at 1 :30 PM in the Commission Room prior <br />to each regularly scheduled meeting of the Cass County Board of Commissioners. The <br />schedule of rotational department meetings will be printed on the Commission agenda for <br />each meeting. <br /> <br />BUILDING ACCESS TO MEETINGS <br /> <br />Anyone planning to attend meetings of the Cass County Board of Commissioners after <br />5:00 PM who is not already in the building, should use tho entranco doors in the center on <br />the west side of the Courthouse. The inside doors aro locked after regular businoss hours <br />but there is a telophono to tho jail where an officor on duty can automatically unlock the <br />inner doors. will need to make arranaements with county staff. since the building is secured <br />after 5:00 PM. <br /> <br />HISTORICAL REFERENCE DATE: FEBRUARY 19,1991 <br />MAY 4.1992 <br />
