",\\0(' <br />\'. <br />c.. <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />Cy <br />MANAGEMENT <br /> <br />RECEIVED <br />SEP 2 I) 2001! <br /> <br /> <br />CASS COUNTY COMMISSION <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />To: <br />From: <br />Subject: <br />Date: <br /> <br />Cass Fargo Emergency Management Board <br />Dave Rogness <br />2007 Homeland Security Grant / Spending Plan <br />September 20, 2007 <br /> <br />Cass County has been awarded $224,237 in 2007 Homeland Security Grant funds and <br />$93,644 in 2007 Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program (LETPP) grant funds. <br />On August 29 Cass Fargo Emergency Management conducted a local applicant briefing <br />for eligible entities inviting them to apply for grant funds. Applications were due on <br />September ih and forwarded to the Cass Fargo Local Emergency Planning Committee <br />(LEPC) for review. <br /> <br />On September 17, 2007 the Cass County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) <br />met to review fifteen grant applications. On that same date, a panel representing Cass <br />County Sheriff, Fargo Police Department, and West Fargo Police Departments met to <br />determine their spending plan for the LETPP funds. <br /> <br />Enclosed are the recommended spending plans for the Homeland Security and the LEPC <br />and the LETPP grant from the law enforcement group. The complete application <br />requests and meeting minutes are available for your examination upon request. We will <br />discuss and approve the recommended spending plan at the Cass Fargo Emergency <br />Management Board meeting on September 24th. <br /> <br />The final plan will be forwarded to the Cass County and Fargo City Commissions at their <br />next meetings. <br />
