<br />AMENDED ITEMS-SEPTEMBER 17, 2007 <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA: <br /> <br />c. Lost Instrument Bond <br />SUGGESTED MOTION: <br />Move to receive and file Lost Instrument Bond for Beth Berg; and to authorize the county <br />auditor and county treasurer to issue a duplicate check. <br /> <br />f. Contract approval <br />SUGGESTED MOTION: <br />Move to authorize the chairman to sign the following contract submitted by respective <br />department head, subject to state's attorney approval. <br /> <br />- Drug Task Force grant funds-accept the 2007 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice <br />Assistance Grant Award (JAG) in the amount of $84,709, and authorize the chairman <br />to sign the award documents; <br />- North Dakota Department of Transportation-traffic safety grant in the amount of <br />$10,000 for overtime expenses to remove alcohol and drug impaired drivers from <br />roadways. <br /> <br />REGULAR AGENDA: <br /> <br />4. Bridge repair update <br />SUGGESTED MOTION: <br />Move to authorize the chairman to sign a contract with Swingen Construction in the <br />amount of $43,400 for costs to repair a bridge located between Sections 28 and 29 of <br />Everest Township. <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION: <br />Move to authorize Industrial Builders to proceed with repairs to the Maple River bridge <br />located in Section 32 of Durbin Township on or about October 8,2007, at a cost not to <br />exceed $9,500. <br /> <br />OR <br /> <br />Move to authorize Industrial Builders to proceed with repairs to the Maple River bridge <br />located in Section 32 of Durbin Township on or about September 24,2007, at a cost not <br />to exceed $13,000. <br /> <br />P:\Commission Minutes\MINUTES\Comm2007\AMEND9-17AGN.doc <br />
