Commission Minutes--December 15, 2003 2677 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS December 15, 2003 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: John Meyer, Robyn Sorum, Darrell Vanyo, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Scott Wagner led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following additions: 1) contracts with Centre, Inc., the City of West Fargo and Fargo Cass County Economic Development Corporation; and 2) purchase order for Road Department equipment. Motion carried. 5. BEER LICENSE, Approved for new owners at The Shootina Park of Farao, Inc. MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve a 2004 county beer license for The Shooting Park of Fargo, Inc. under new ownership, subject to approval by the sheriff, the state's attorney and the township board of supervisors of Warren Township. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 6. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Approved for Sandhills Archers, Inc. MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve a raffle permit for Sandhills Archers, Inc. on the dates of January 9, 2004 and February 28, 2004 at the Sandhills Archery Park, West Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY, County deeds to cities MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to authorize the chairman and the county auditor to sign county deeds to the Cities of Fargo, Page, Hunter and Leonard for the purchase of tax-forfeited property. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 8. BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS, Approved for 2003 and 2004 MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve the 2003 and 2004 budget adjustments, as outlined by the county auditor in a letter dated December 5, 2003. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
