COUNTY DEED This indenture made this 15th day of December, 2003, between the County of Cass, North Dakota, party of the first part, and City of Leonard, PO Box 307, Leonard, North Dakota, 58052-0307, party of the second part, witnesseth: WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described was acquired by the county through tax deed proceedings for the nonpayment of taxes levied and extended against said property for the years 1998 to 2002 inclusive, with interest and penalties, and an estimate of the 2003 taxes, amounting to the sum of Five thousand and no/100 ($5,000.00) dollars; WHEREAS, said real property was offered for sale, and sold, pursuant to authority to law, on the 15th day of December, 2003, and at said sale, said second party became the purchaser of the whole thereof, for the sum of One and no/100 ($1.00) dollars, which has been paid in full; NOW, THEREFORE, the said county as party of the first part, in consideration of the premises, and pursuant to authority of law, hereby assigns, that certain real property situated in Cass County, North Dakota, described as follows, to wit: Lots 30 (Thirty), 31 (Thirty-one) and 32 (Thirty-two) Block 23 (Twenty-three), Watt's Addition to the City of Leonard, Cass County, North Dakota Tax Parcel Number: 17-0300-13663-000 To have and to hold the above described real property with all of the appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said party of the second part, City of Leonard, heirs and assigns forever. IN WITNESS WHEREOF Scott Wagner and Michael Montplaisir, as chairman of the board of county commissioners and county auditor, respectively, of said county, hereby do set their hands the day and year first above written and do cause the seal of said county to be affixed thereto.
