COUNTY DEED This indenture made this 15th day of December, 2003, between the County of Cass, North Dakota, party of the first part, and City of Page, PO Box 62, Page, North Dakota, 58064-0062, party of the second part, witnesseth: WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described was acquired by the county through tax deed proceedings for the nonpayment of taxes levied and extended against said property for the years 1998 to 2002 inclusive, with interest and penalties, and an estimate of the 2003 taxes, amounting to the sum of One hundred and no/100 ($100.00) dollars; WHEREAS, said real property was offered for sale, and sold, pursuant to authority to law, on the 15th day of December, 2003, and at said sale, said second party became the purchaser of the whole thereof, for the sum of One and no/100 ($1.00) dollars, which has been paid in full; NOW, THEREFORE, the said county as party of the first part, in consideration of the premises, and pursuant to authority of law, hereby assigns, that certain real property situated in Cass County, North Dakota, described as follows, to wit: That part of Lot Thirteen (13) Block Twelve (12), in the Original Townsite of the Village of Page; commencing at the northwest point of the above-described lot; thence east 59 feet; thence south 127 feet, more or less, to the intersection of the lot line; thence northwest 140 feet more or less to the point of beginning Tax Parcel Number: 05-0400-01361-000 To have and to hold the above described real property with all of the appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said party of the second part, City of Page, heirs and assigns forever. IN WITNESS WHEREOF Scott Wagner and Michael Montplaisir, as chairman of the board of county commissioners and county auditor, respectively, of said county, hereby do set their hands the day and year first above written and do cause the seal of said county to be affixed thereto.
