2 It was moved by Manager Lougheed and seconded by Manager Thompson to authorize Moore Engineering, Inc. to survey the Drain #18 channel and determine methods to improve the channel grade. Upon roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 2024 budget It was moved by Manager Lougheed and seconded by Manager Thompson to approve the North Cass Water Resource District 2024 budget. Upon roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. The 2023 maintenance levy assessments will be discussed at the next meeting. Bills It was moved by Manager Thompson and seconded by Manager Lougheed to approve payment of the wire transfers and the electronic funds transfers, as presented. Upon roll call vote, the following Managers voted in favor: Ecker, Thompson and Lougheed. The motion carried unanimously. Elm River Dam No. 3 Improvements 2022 Project Manager Thompson reported on current conditions at Elm River Dam No. 3. The NDDWR continues to review the construction permit application for the Elm River Dam No. 3 Improvements 2022 Project. Manager Thompson indicated the project needs to be completed as soon as possible to avoid increased damage downstream of the facility. Office remodel update / meeting location The Secretary-Treasurer reported the Cass County Highway Department is currently being renovated and future North Cass Water Resource District meetings are planned to be held in a different room at the Cass County Highway Department during the renovation.
