<br /> Policy Number: Number of Pages: <br /> CASS COUNTY JAIL <br />POLICIES AND PROCEDURES <br />Chapter: <br />COURTHOUSE SECURITY OPERATIONS <br />Subject: Effective Date: <br /> TELEPHONE ALARM <br /> <br />The telephone at the Security Station in the Cass County Courthouse is equipped with an <br />alarm system. When a person calls for assistance a green light on the telephone next to <br />the alarm location will illuminate. When an alarm is activated, refer to the telephone and <br />note the location displayed. <br /> <br />1. If a Court Transport Officer is available in the building, send them to the location. <br /> <br />2. Contact the Sheriffs Department; ask that a deputy be sent to the location of the <br />alarm. <br /> <br />3. Dial the corresponding call back number for the alarm, advise the person that an <br />alarm was received and a deputy has been dispatched. <br /> <br />Semi-annual testing will be performed by the Cass County Court Transport Supervisor or <br />his/her designee. The Cass County Infomlation Technologies Department will assist with <br />testing when necessary. <br /> <br />A record of the test will be recorded and retained by the Court Transport Supervisor. <br /> <br />I Sheriffs Signature: <br /> <br />I Date of SignaMe: <br />
