Box 2806 Fargo, ND 58108 CASS COUNTY COteW'SSION RE: Cass County Space Committee Dear Commission: In response to Commissioner Wagner's letter regarding o~ representative to the Cass County Space Committee, it appears a few matters need clarification. Firstly, I apologize for submitting my original letter to Chairman Wagner, as a review of the Commission minutes that pertain to the creation of the Space Committee clearly indicate that Judge Webb's replacement should be an agenda item to be considered by the full Commission. '" Secondly, Judge Webb has resigned from the Committee after a unanimous decision by our judges that Judge Herman should be our representative. His resignation is attached. This is to take nothing away from the services rendered by Judge Webb. We appreciate his past efforts, and you apparently do as well. Finally, it is my hope that you will honor our preference, as you have done in the past. We request that this be placed on the agenda for your next meeting. cc: Chief Justice Gerald VandeWalle SUGGESTED MOTION: Move to retain Judge Wade Webb on the Cass County Building Committee as appointed by the Cass County Commission on December 15, 2003. OR SUGGESTED MOTION: Move to replace Judge Wade Webb and appoint Judge Doug Herman to the Cass County Building Committee.
