Request for Quote Tractors - Six-Month Lease December 13,2006 The North Dakota Association of Counties, as administrator of a Master Joint Powers Agreement for Purchasing wIth 53 participating counties, requests a quote for the lease of up to 50 tractors for the period May 15, 2007 through November 15, 2007. A listing of those participating counties desiring to lease tractors is attached. The terms and conditions anticipated are as follows: Each county requesting one or more tractors will be an individual lessee; Tractors are to be used for a MAXIMUM of 250 engine hours An initial hourly rate for the first 250 hours will be quoted $0.0 per hours. The rental rate applies ONLY to the tractor. Any other equipment and/or attachment is a separate agreement between the dealer and county. Tractors will be available to the individual county lessees on or before May 15, 2007 and will be returned to the lessor on or before Nov 15, 2007 or 250 engine hours, whichever occurs first. Individual county lessees will carry property damage insurance on the tractors for full and true value of the equipment. Insurance policy shall name lessee as insured and lessor as an additional insured and loss payable thereof as lessor's interest may appear. Evidence of property insurance shall be provided to the lessor by the lessee. Lessee shall provide commercial general liability with a minimum liability limits of $250,000.00 per person and $1,000,000 per occurrence. Lessee will accept responsibility for any breakage due to negligence done by them. Lessee personnel will be responsible for daily maintenance, greasing, checking fluids and keeping the tractors clean. Lessee shall be responsible for and perform routine maintenance according to the manufacturer's requirements. Maintenance supplies such as oil and filters if necessary, must be purchased from the lessor. Major repairs if any shall be performed at the dealer's service location. Lessor shall provide manufacturers warranty to cover defects in materials and workmanship applicable to the equipment. The lessee agrees to pay for repair of damaged tires or excessive wear. Cuts resulting in permanent damage to a tire will be subject to replacement by Lessee.
