The building(s) and structure(s) located on Lots 7-12 and 13-24, Block 9, Original <br />Townsite to the City of Argusville, parcel numbers 09-0100-11883-000 and 09-0100-11882-000, <br />located within the city limits of the City of Argusville, North Dakota, is a substandard building(s) <br />because the building(s) on the property have a collapsed roof on the southern portion of the <br />building, windows are covered in plywood, and the exterior of the building is failing. <br />Accordingly, Ms. Rose notified the Baumlers that the building(s) constituted a dangerous <br />building(s) because 1) the building(s) shows thirty-three percent or more of damage or <br />deterioration of the supporting member or members, or fifty percent of damage or <br />determination of the non-supporting enclosing or outside walls or covering; 2) the building(s) <br />has improperly distributed loans upon the floors or roofs or in which the same are overloaded, <br />or which have insufficient strength to be reasonable safe for the purpose used; 3) the <br />building(s) has been damaged by fire, wind or other causes so as to have become dangerous to <br />life, safety, morals, or the general health and welfare of the occupants or the people of the city; <br />4) the building(s) has become, or is, so dilapidated, decayed, unsafe or unsanitary or which so <br />utterly fails to provide the amenities essential to decent living that they are unfit for human <br />habitation or are likely to cause of aggravate sickness or disease, so as to work injury to the <br />health, morals, safety, or general welfare of those living therein; 5) the building(s), because of <br />its condition is unsafe, unsanitary or dangerous to the health, morals, safety or general welfare <br />of the people of this city; 6) the building(s) has parts thereof which are so attached that they <br />may fall and injure members of the public or property; and 7) the building(s) exists in violation <br />of provisions of the Building Code, zoning ordinances, the Fire Prevention Code, or other <br />ordinances of this city.
