This is a project proposal from students and <br />staff at the NDSU Emergency Management program and is essentially a "pass-through" <br />grant from the ND Hazard Mitigation Office. The Cass Fargo Emergency Management <br />Office is making application on their behalf. <br /> <br />The grant request total is $24,170. The grant includes a 75% federal share; a 10% <br />state share and a 15% local match. The local match is identified as an in-kind, non- <br />cash match of use of office space and office equipment provided by our office. <br /> <br />Cass Fargo Emergency Management supports the emergency management educational <br />program at NDSU through close relationships including using students for project work, <br />supporting internships, serving on advisory committees and making presentations for <br />emergency management classes. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Dave Rogness <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION: I move to approve the signing of the grant application of Cass <br />Fargo Emergency Management for a hazard mitigation awareness project conducted by <br />students and staff from the NDSU Emergency Management program. <br />
