Commission Minutes-April 16, 2007 3198 MOTION, passed Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve a budget adjustment in the amount of $750 to allow the Veterans Service Officer to travel with the WDA Y World War II Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. on May 3-5, 2007, with funds coming from Commissioner Pawluk's travel budget. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 11. VOUCHERS, Approved MOTION, passed Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve Voucher No. 216,406 through Voucher No. 216,817. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 12. MEETING UPDATES; INSURANCE CLAIM REFUND; JOINT MEETING WITH CLAY COUNTY; HONOR FLIGHT FUNDRAISER; LEGISLATIVE UPDATE, Committee reports Commissioners and staff reported on meetings they have attended in the past two weeks, as well as upcoming meetings. Mrs. Johnson said the county received a refund check from the North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund in the amount of $90,076, for controlling claim losses over the last year. She commended department heads for their efforts. Mrs. Johnson said a luncheon meeting between Cass and Clay County will be held on Tuesday, June 5th. Clay County is hosting the event this year. Mr. Pawluk said county employees are holding a fund raiser for the World War II Honor Flight on Wednesday, April 25th in the Annex basement. Mr. Wagner said a legislative conference call may be conducted on Thursday or Friday of this week. He will inform commissioners and department heads when he receives more information. Also, he will be attending the North Dakota Association of Counties legislative session wrap-up on Monday, May ih in Bismarck, but plans to be present at the commission meeting. 13. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. letter from Lake Agassiz Regional Council regarding 2007 Community Development Block Grant Program transfer of funds from Housing Rehabilitation and Public Facilities-Low Income Category to Public Facilities-Urgent Need Category. 14. ADJOURNMENT MOTION, passed On motion by Mr. Pawluk, seconded by Mr. Bennett, and all in favor, the meeting was adjourned at about 4:30 PM.
