<br />F. ORIGINAL PLANS AND PRINTS <br /> <br />One set of plans shall be provided for use in making a P.S.& E. Inspection. Prints of plan sheets necessary for use by <br />utility companies to provide estimates and agreements for relocation work shall be provided. <br /> <br />After all P.S.& E comments have been resolved and corrections made, the original copy of the final plans shall be <br />furnished to the county or the North Dakota Department of Transportation(department). <br /> <br />G. RIGHT OF WAY PLATS <br /> <br />NONE: (County responsibility). <br /> <br />H. ADDITIONAL WORK ITEMS OR EXCEPTIONS <br /> <br />Services as outlined in the Houston Engineering letter of April 4, 2007. WORK TO INCLUDE <br />DETERMINATION OF ANY UTILITY CONFLICTS AND ACQUISITION OF REQUIRED UTILITY <br />RELOCATION PERMITS. <br /> <br />(If a cultural resource survey and report is required, work and cost will be included in a supplemental agreement <br />prior to the work being done.) <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />The engineer or representative shall participate in and inform the county of the P.S.& E. or T.S.& L. inspection, or <br />any special conference or special field inspection during the progress of the design. The engineer shall also keep the <br />county informed of project development. There shall be no additional compensation to the engineer for this work. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />The final plans, Special Requirements, and Cost Estimate shall be prepared and submitted to the county or <br />department within 30 calendar days following approval ofthis agreement. Reasonable extension of time, <br />necessitated by the unavoidable delays, may be made when mutually agreed to in writing by the parties to this <br />agreement. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />The county will pay the engineer $28.539.00 (lump sum) for the above specified services. The fee shall not <br />exceed $28.359.00 for the project unless changed according to Section VII. A breakdown of cost is attached. <br /> <br />V. <br /> <br />All plans shall become property of the county. <br /> <br />VI. <br /> <br />Duly authorized representatives of the county, department, and Federal Highway Administration (FHW A) shall have <br />right to inspect and copy the engineer=s plans, files, and records relating to the work included in this agreement. <br /> <br />All books, documents, papers, accounting records, and other evidence pertaining to the cost incurred under the <br />agreement shall be retained by the engineer and available for inspection by the county, department, or FHW A for a <br />period of three years after the date of final payment. <br /> <br />2 <br />
