<br />Commission Minutes--November 17, 2003 2669 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />NOVEMBER 17, 2003 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: John Meyer, Robyn Sorum, Darrell Vanyo, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />The chairman asked Birch Burdick to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with the addition of a contract with Discovery Benefits, Inc. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. AUDIT COMMITMENT, Letter to State Auditor's Office <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to authorize the chairman <br />to sign a three-year commitment letter with the Office of the State <br />Auditor to complete the county's annual audit. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Federal aid proaram for 2004-2006 <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to authorize the chairman <br />to sign the 2004-2006 Federal Aid Program Sheet. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Casselton transportation enhancement sponsorship <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve Cass County's <br />sponsorship of the City of Casselton transportation enhancement <br />application. Cass County's sponsorship is contingent upon the City of <br />Casselton signing an agreement to assume all initial and future costs <br />and liabilities related to the project. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />8. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Farao transportation enhancement for pedestrian bridae <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to authorize the chairman <br />to sign a letter of support for a transportation enhancement fund <br />application to re-use the 40th Avenue bridge for a pedestrian bridge. On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />
