See Use. <br /> <br />Land-Use Density. An intensity measurement usually expressed in terms of the number of units <br />or square feet of a particular land-use permitted to be built, constructed, or placed on a defined <br />parcel of land. <br /> <br />MUTCD. Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways. <br /> <br />Negative Access Easement: An easement, usually designatved on a plat, which operates to deny <br />direct access to a street or public way from the lot or lots adjacent to such street or way. <br /> <br />Lot. A single legally divided parcel of land. <br /> <br />Lot, Comer. A lot abutting on two roads at their juncture. <br /> <br />Parcel. Any legally described piece of land. <br /> <br />Peak-Hour Volume. The highest hourly vehicular volume observed, or anticipated, at the point of <br />analysis during a normal day. <br /> <br />Permit. A formal, written document authorizing an access point onto a County Highway and <br />authorizing certain work to be performed within the right-of-way of a County Highway which sets <br />forth the terms and conditions applicable to the access point and of said work in conformance of <br />this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Posted Speed. The speed limit of the County Highway as indicated on the regulatory sign. <br /> <br />Private Road. A road in which there is no public interest and for which no public agency has <br />jurisdictional or maintenance responsibilities. <br /> <br />Right-Ot-Way. A strip of land occupied or intended to be occupied for public road purposes. <br /> <br />Right-Ot-Way Line. The boundary between the land acquired for or dedicated to highway use and <br />abutting property. <br /> <br />Shared Access. An access facility used jointly by two or more properties. <br /> <br />Use.
