<br />shall be subject to the approval of the County to include law enforcement <br />background checks. Current food service statT schedules will be provided to County. <br /> <br />2.14.6 Available Inmate Labor <br />The County will provide a minimum of eight (8) inmate / trustees per shift for <br />cleaning of facilities, prepping and serving of food. In the event that the County is <br />unable to provide the minimum inmate labor requirement, the cost per meal shall be <br />adjusted to allow the contractor to be reimbursed .15 cents per meal for any period of <br />time in which the total inmate labor fell to six or less inmates. <br /> <br />2.14.6.1 <br /> <br />The Contractor agrees that food service staff will be on site and <br />supervising inmate labor at those times that inmate workers are within <br />the food service area. <br /> <br />2.15 Equipment and Supplies <br /> <br />2.15.1 Contractor Supplied Equipment <br />The Contractor shall provide paper supplies and all chemicals/soaps needed for the <br />kitchen operations. <br /> <br />2.15.2 County Supplied Office Equipment <br />The County shall provide the following existing office furniture and equipment for <br />use by the Contractor in the performance of the contract at no charge under the same <br />terms applicable to capital equipment contained in the contract: desk, chairs, filing <br />cabinets, local telephone service and other equipment as negotiated. <br /> <br />2.15.5 Repair and Replacement <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for the cost of repair of County food service <br />equipment where it has been determined by the County that damages were due to the <br />Contractor's negligence. The County shall be responsible for all repairs that arise <br />due to normal wear and tear of equipment. <br /> <br />2.15.6 Sale of Food and Supply Inventory <br />On expiration or termination of the contract, the inventories of food and supplies of <br />the Contractor shall be purchased at invoice value by the new contractor or agency in <br />order to maintain on-going, adequate food service supply levels. <br /> <br />2.17 UtilitieslTelephone <br />2.17.1 Utilities <br />The County will provide all utilities necessary tor normal food service operations. <br /> <br />2.17.2 Telephone <br />The County shall provide the Contractor with telephone equipment, installation and <br />service. The Contractor shall have access to local service using equipment provided <br />by the County. The County shall pay for equipment repair and replacement and line <br />maintenance. CBM will pay tor all long distance tees. <br /> <br />6 <br />
