I will briefly review all six contracts. All contracts and <br />agreements have been forwarded to Birch Burdick for review and comment. <br />They will be forwarded to the Commission for final approval at the <br />December 18th meeting. <br /> <br />Contract 1 Refugee Services (federal fiscal year 2007) <br />This is a reimbursement contract from the NDDHS to provide <br />funding for interpreters and to provide supplemental funding <br />for county based services for refugees, through a federal grant <br />called Targeted Assistance. We had budgeted $15,000 but <br />only received $12,000. <br />Contract 2 Refugee Services - (federal fiscal year 2007) <br />Metropolitan Interpreter Resource Center funding. This <br />contract is also based on federal refugee funding. We had <br />budgeted $10,000 for this service but only received $8,000. <br />Cass County will only fund the MIRC with $8,000. <br />Contract 3 Purchased home health aide and homemaker services <br />Fargo Cass Public Health. This is a contract that has been in <br />place almost 20 years to provide home health aide service for <br />county funded services for very low income individuals. <br />Contract amount is $20,000. <br />Contract 4,5,6 Purchased homemaker services <br />Tami's Angel, Merit Care and Community Living Services. <br />These contracts that have been in place for four years to <br />provide county funded homemaker services for very low <br />income individuals. Unit rate is determined by the ND DHS. <br />Overall spending authority in county budget is $25,000. <br />Contract 7 Supervised Visitation <br />This is a new contract with Rainbow Bridge for supervised <br />visitation for foster children. Previously Rainbow Bridge <br />received sponsorship funds but purchasing services was <br />adopted to improve reporting to meet federal requirements. <br />Contract budget is 7,500. <br /> <br />cc: Michael Montplaisir <br />Birch Burdick <br />
