<br />INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE <br /> <br />Functional Coordinator: Social Services Director <br /> <br />Purpose <br /> <br />To provide procedures for preparedness, response and recovery to meet the basic and special <br />human needs of individuals and families impacted by emergency or disaster situations, such as: <br />Health Related Fire/Explosion Bomb Threat Flood <br />Communicable Vehicle Accidents Terrorism Heavy Rains <br />Disease Aircraft Accidents Active Shooter Blizzard <br />Bio-terrorism Hazardous Materials Civil Disorder Tornado <br />Structural Collapse High Winds <br />(Straight-line) <br /> <br />The functional coordinator will use necessary means to coordinate the use of volunteer groups to <br />meet the tasks set forth in this function. Additionally, the coordinator \\-ill provide organizational <br />support for donations management and coordinate the use and registration of volunteers for <br />emergency operations. <br /> <br />Primary Function: Coordinate/Liaison with hospitals, Coordinate with Cass County Social <br />Services, Coordinate/Liaison with Volunteer Groups (Red Cross, Salvation ArnlY, United Way, <br />EV Ac. First Link), Organize Support for Donations Management <br /> <br />Secondary Function: Organize volunteers <br /> <br />.
