This project consists of a 100 million gallon/year ethanol <br />plant, major expansion of the existing Cargill ;\falt Barley plant and the construction <br />of a Co-(;eneration plant. The projected cost of this project is 5350 million dollars, <br />which is by far one of the largest investments in the state of :'\orth Dakota since the <br />railroad. <br /> <br />The Stutsman County Commission has determined that it is imperative to partner <br />with the :\"D Department of Transporration to fund a transportation srudy of the <br />roads in the region most likely to be impacted by this project. The study has been <br />estimated to cost between $150,000 and $200,000. This is cost shared \vith :t\D DOT <br />on an 80/20 basis.
