<br />No. 402 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Gyle's Stay-at-Home Benefit, has made application to <br /> <br />the Board of Cass County Commissioners of the County of Cass for <br /> <br />permission to conduct a game of chance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said game of chance is to be conducted on October 28, <br /> <br />2006, at the Knickerbocker Liquor Locker, in Hickson, ND; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the sworn statement of facts contained in the <br /> <br />application of Gyle's Stay-at-Home Benefit, <br /> <br />for such permit <br /> <br />indicates that Gyle's Stay-at-Home Benefit, <br /> <br />is qualified and <br /> <br />eligible to conduct a game of chance in accordance with the laws of <br /> <br />the State of North Dakota; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County <br /> <br />Commissioners of Cass County: That Gyle's Stay-at-Home Benefit is <br /> <br />hereby authorized to conduct a game of chance on October 28, 2006; <br /> <br />and that the nature of the game authorized to be conducted is <br /> <br />Poker. <br /> <br />STATE OF NORTH DAKOTA) <br />) SS <br />COUNTY OF CASS ) <br /> <br />Michael Montplaisir, being first duly sworn, deposes and says that <br />he is the duly appointed County Auditor of the County of Cass and <br />that the foregoing resolution is a true and correct copy of a <br />resolution duly adopted by the County Commissioners of the County <br />of Casso and that such resolution is a true and correct transcript <br />of the permanent records of the minutes of the meeting of the Board <br />of County Commissioners of the County of Cass held on the 18th day <br />of September, 2006. <br /> <br />Michael Montplaisir, County Auditor <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION: <br />Move to approve a charity local permit for a poker tournament to be <br />held October 28, 2006, at the Knickerbocker Liquor Locker in Hickson, <br />North Dakota, for Gyle Peterson benefit. <br />
