<br />· Professionals in agencies/ schools in Cass County will have quality research based <br />educational material in parenting and nutrition at their fingertips and as a result be better <br />able to serve their clients. <br />· Parents/ Individuals will have better access to educational material in the areas of <br />nutrition, parenting, and financial management. <br />· Parents/ Individuals will have increased knowledge in the areas of nutrition, parenting, <br />and financial management. <br /> <br />Long-term strategies (if applicable) for sustaining tbis effort. <br /> <br />The Parent Resource Center will be able to sustain the effort of keeping the resource <br />binder updated after the three year funding period. <br /> <br />C. EVALUATION <br />1. How will you measure the effectiveness of your activities? <br />Agencies will complete a retrospective evaluation tool giving data on usefulness of <br />material, how it benefited them in their work, how often and how material was used, how many <br />clients "used" material. Clients will complete evaluation dat~ on usefulness of material. <br />, <br /> <br />2. Your criteria (measurable, if possible) for a successful program and the results you <br />expect to have achieved by the end of the funding period. <br />80 % of professionals indicated that the resource notebook, displays helped them in their work <br />with clients. <br />Displays reached 1,000 people each year. <br />500 bulletins/newsletter given to clients each year. <br /> <br />3. Who will be involved in evaluating this work (staff, board, constituents, community, and <br />consultants)? , <br />NDSU Extension staff, school counselors, social workers, and parent advocates will be <br />involved in evaluating this work. <br /> <br />4. How will evaluations be used? <br />The evaluations will be used to determine what additional resources would be most <br />beneficial to professionals and clients. <br /> <br />6 <br />
